Missing link found?

Scientists unveil stunning fossil: Scientists have unveiled a 47-million-year-old skeleton of a monkey-like female creature called IDA which they say provides a missing link in man's evolution. Read more details in this article from May 19, 2009. Sorry Adriana Gil, the video you posted is not working :-(

Wuao que bien que hayan encontrado a este eslabon, Ida; es increible pensar que nuestros ancestros fuesen así... Y seguramente falta por encontrar muchos más fosiles, ya sean humanos o de otros animales :)

I hope that Ida can give a solution to most of the big questions about the evolution... it seems like! :D

Woahh it's amazing. I like this kind of researches, all related to fossils and new spedcies that the human ever seen before. Actually when i was a kid i said that in the future i will study paleomtology.

this video is sooo cool! i think i dont hear it well! when found it?

i think its soo weird think us like a litlle cat. Ida its kind creapy to me. hahaha. "she" was a big head for her body! its awesome haw the monkeys and apes turn out from a criature like this!
i think fabiana that it was found in Germany but im not so sure!

It's really amazing as the discovery of a small fossil can help to find much about human evolution. We will hope that IDA and many discoveries future will help clarify where we came from

This discovery is amazing! I think it's a good evidence for the Darwin's theory of the evolution. Also is very important that it's may be one of the most complete fossil found.

The video is very good. The transition between the monkey and the man would be revealed with this finding, wich has been confirmed its 47 million years old.
The Charles Darwin evolution theory need this evidence. Some scientifics confirmed this is the eighth wonder of the world. For others it is the closest thing to the Holy Grail, in importance. Is really amazing! isn´t it?

It is a test(proof) that little by little we are obtaining information brings the past over wherefrom we come, as eramos and everything involved anosotros for this this science is very important for the humanity

its amazing how a simple discovery can help a lot in the search of the true of how we evolved.. i hope this fossil IDA helps a lot.. and also hope that appears other discoveries that help us to know where we came from..

The video has a fabulous and interesting topic. It is impredicible what the science grants us across the discoveries of the fossils. Increasingly we find mas evidence that informs us itbrings over of whom were our ancestors.

waaao it's really awesome, because it was discovered around 25 years ago and now the scientist found that in fact Ida was a missing link! And it make me think that if it occurs with that fossil, it probably is occurring with a lot of fossil that we had discovered, but that we’re not study yet.

This discovery is surprising because it is perhaps the missing link that would complete our evolutionary tree and answer many questions about our origins.

Oh! all right!!! Super cool ... but something that surprised me rather was the size! Too small, jejeje =) ...
It is an extraordinary discovery, even though I do not think we can call it the "missing link", although some features can be noted as "human"… It not is the transition from primates to humans... with a little more research; scientists get ideas or clues that lead to accurate conclusions about our origin, evolution and ancestors!

This is really shocking but also its not as significant to science than I thought. I mean, when I first saw the headline I thought that the real missing link between human and apes has been found but actually Ida is like an descendent from lemurs wich is an animal that has some similarities with monkeys.

It's a very good discovery, but even if Ida is not the missing link, it is going to help with future investigations and providing clues about our ancestors. I hope that one day the scientific community find the missing link and get answers for all the questions that we have about evolution.

the advance of science is progressive, and we hope that it follows if so that can give answer to all the questions that exist about the origin of the man. It seems excellent that they have found Going me, we do not know if it is exactly the lost link but I am sure that contribuira very enormously to solve some problems that have appeared at the time of giving answers on our ancestors.

This video is very interesting, and i have never thought that IDA is small, but this research is very important to us. I hope, we can have more research like this.

Wuaoo Is really good, a new proves or evidence that will give us more information about how we evolved.

But I am wondering, if they discovered it 25 years ago why they are using it or searching it until now, well who knows… but the good answer is that the found that it is a missing link, so that means that we will get new information from it and maybe some new theories will be done.

its pretty amazing to think thats the fossil of one of our ancestors, hope it helps scientists to get more answers about human evolution

Gabriela Rodriguez said...

este video es muy interesante ya que con ese descubriminto se podrian responder muchos cuestionamientos sobre nuestros origenes... ojala sigan apareciendo fosiles asi...=)

This discover its so great and interesting! Ida may be is the solutions to so mmany questions of evolution! Every year the questions increased because while more we know less is our Knowledge.
